Roots in the Toilet
Greg diagnoses and then cures a toilet infected with roots, probably from a Palm tree not far away. This entire house had flooded due to the combination of the roots clogging the drain and the flush lever sticking. This video covers diagnosing the problem and explaining exactly what happened. Also real time demo of removal of the toilet without getting the floor wet or injuring your back.
Here's a photo taken by a viewer of roots removed from his own toilet drain. Ted writes: " I thought my daughter flushed something bad down there and was shocked when I pulled that root from Hell out of the hole. I nearly gagged.
In part two, Greg demonstrates how to reinstall the toilet, and apply copper sulfate root killer to prevent the problem from reoccurring. He also explains how he knew what the problem was before he even got to the house
